Frequently Asked Questions

What areas or issues does the EFC's Centre for Faith and Public Life engage in?
The issues which The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada's Centre for Faith and Public Life monitors and addresses usually flow from the biblical principles of sanctity of life, care for the vulnerable, family integrity or religious freedom. See the list of our issues here. Click on an issue of interest to you; you'll find an explanation of each issue from a biblical standpoint along with information about that issue's current status, statistics and tips on how you can become involved.

What does the EFC do to respond to social issues?
The EFC fosters dialogue on the application of biblical principles to contemporary issues through study guides, background and position papers, fact sheets, government submissions and court interventions. The EFC offers information and analysis to help evangelical Christians think through the issues of the day.

How can I get involved?
Pray for our nation. Become informed on the issues you wish to address. Communicate your views in a respectful way to your neighbour, elected representatives and the media. Our Take Action pages have more detailed suggestions.
